A collaborative event by Islington Council’s Community Chest and the Local Initiatives Fund

As part of Small Charity Week come and celebrate the great work you do that contributes to the wonderful and diverse community that makes Islington a great place to live

  • Learn more about local initiatives that are helping to put the community at the centre of Islington life, including the estate-based Good Neighbours Scheme and how small local community groups support and compliment this work
  • Raise awareness of the work you do by introducing yourself to your local Councillors, some of whom will be new following the local elections

There will be opportunities to find out about local funding initiatives that directly support local community engagement including:

Find out about how Voluntary Action Islington can support your organisation and the launch of their new Volunteer Centre volunteering database.

Quaker Social Action will be on hand to tell you about how your project can be involved with their new Islington: GetSet Financial Inclusion project.

There will be performances and art exhibitions by local community organisations and artists and plenty of food and refreshments – come and celebrate your local community!
